This past week I was fortunate to receive an invite to attend the NY NOW home show in Manhattan at the Javits center. Working in retail, I have been to several trade shows in the past years. Trade shows are used as a platform for brands to market their product to retailers and sell their merchandise to either existing retailers or used to find new retailers. I love attending these shows. They are incredibly inspiring and always result in new trends for the upcoming season. This show was no less than wonderfully impressive. It was an incredible experience for a home lover such as myself. Unfortunately, picture taking is not endorsed, so I had to be sneaky with my photos. I was able to capture displays by the amazing Johnathan Adler designs, who focused on mixed media, statement accessories and color pops. Rumor has it you can sometimes purchase pieces from the vendors on the last day at a deep discounted cost! I also took a turn to the Sheex display. This brand focuses on creating bed sheets which help regulate sleep and assist in getting a better nights rest. I was so impressed by their quality and mission that I had to sneak a peek! I couldn’t help but grab onto the soft fabrics hanging in their corner. The brand manager spoke to me about Sheex ability to keep you cool at night and prevent interruptions from temperature changes throughout the night. I cannot wait to test these Sheex out! As of right now you can purchase them on Neiman Marcus, Horchow and Amazon. I was clearly a huge fan! More to come on that!!! Overall, the NY NOW home show was such a great experience. I cannot wait to re-decorate and hopefully find inspiration in my own home from visiting this amazing show.
